Manshead Mountain Mule Ranch Cabin is a charming little getaway, nestled below Manshead Mountain in the Tobacco Root Mountains, south of the Jefferson River. The cabin has a loft bedroom with a queen size bed as well as a downstairs sofa sleeper ( can sleep 2 extra guests), a full kitchen, bathroom, and living room. There is a spacious lawn surrounding the house with several shade trees.
Close to world-class fishing, the cabin is in a great location for folks wanting to fish the Jefferson, Big Hole, Beaverhead, Missouri, or Madison Rivers. Other nearby day trips include a visit to the Ringing Rocks, a unique geological formation located approximately 18 miles east of Butte and north of I-90. The rocks in this area chime when tapped with a hammer. There is only one other place in the US (Pennsylvania) that has this curious geologic phenomenon. The Lewis and Clark Caverns and State Park are a 25-mile scenic drive NE of the cabin.
