Ennis Lake is a short 15 drive to the north, where you can enjoy swimming, boating, and fishing. The west entrance to Yellowstone National Park is a scenic 1-hour drive to the south.

Other fun and interesting destinations in the area include historical Virginia and Nevada City, with daily performances by the Virginia City Players and nightly entertainment by the Virginia City Follies. Both are loved by tourists and locals alike and are good for a hearty laugh or two. When you need to relax, try Norris Hot Springs serving locally grown organic food, wine, and beer plus live music many nights of the week. Nearby cities Bozeman, Butte, and Helena all have much to offer. Bozeman is known for its fine dinosaur exhibit at the Museum of the Rockies, Butte for the colorful and rich mineral display at the Mineral Museum, and Helena for its gorgeous historic buildings. Helena is also home to the artistic Archie Bray Center which draws aspiring and known artists year-round to its residency clay and pottery program.
